Hair Studio
It all started 40 years ago when a sister duo decided to create a professionally renowned hair studio in northwest Indiana. These two women forged a business during an era when women were more likely to be at home with the kids. Now, one of those kids brings her vision, passion, and energy to the studio her family started all those years ago. With family being a core value of our salon, you will notice a variety of services for men, women, and children. We provide a comfortable environment for all, and a workspace suited to fit your needs and schedule.
Our Mission as Downtown Hair Studio is to make people feel their best- inside & out. Period. With exceptional, relevant, on trend experiences and a feel good atmosphere, our team keeps the integrity of their hair, skin, nails, and our earth at top priority.

We work on a level system. All of our stylists receive the same state level education before they come to work with us, a standard DHS onboarding training program, and the opportunity for continuing education in our salon. With that being said the levels are dependent on a stylist’s experience and demand on their time. Within our salon, stylists range from Level 1 to Level 6. This allows us to offer a variety in price and availability in preferred schedule.
